A Dream That Bloomed Unexpectedly

Marisol immigrated to the United States from Guatemala at just 16 years old in 1993, arriving without speaking English, without legal documentation, and without family connections. Like many immigrants, the focus was simple: work hard and build a better future.

Years later, while working as a cleaner at a flower shop, Marisol discovered an unexpected passion. Every day, they watched talented designers transform fresh flowers into meaningful works of art. Inspired, Marisol began practicing after hours using flowers that were destined to be thrown away.

Although initially told they weren't experienced enough to design, determination never faded. One day, the shop owner discovered one of Marisol's handmade arrangements and was so impressed that, within just three months of starting as a cleaner, Marisol was promoted to floral designer.

That opportunity changed everything.

Over the next two decades, Marisol refined her craft while working in several of New England's premier floral studios, designing for weddings, celebrations, sympathy services, and unforgettable events.
